Important Information

Valuation Disclaimer

Effective / last updated: September 30, 2026
VALOREM provides informational valuation software—not a guaranteed appraisal or transaction price.

1. Informational Estimates Only

VALOREM outputs are estimates based on available evidence, automated analysis, user-provided information, and third-party information. They are not certified appraisals and should not be treated as guarantees of what an item will sell for, what a buyer should pay, or what an insurer, dealer, auction, tax authority, lender, or court will determine.

2. Market Conditions Change

Automotive-part values can change quickly due to availability, location, demand, platform, season, condition, shipping cost, seller reputation, vehicle application, modifications, recalls, scarcity, and other factors. A past valuation may become stale.

3. Source Limitations

Third-party listings and sources may be inaccurate, unavailable, duplicated, stale, fraudulent, misidentified, incomplete, or based on asking prices rather than completed transactions. VALOREM attempts to apply evidence-quality controls, but no source set is guaranteed to be complete or correct.

4. Part Identity, Condition, and Fitment

Valuation quality depends on correct identification and accurate user inputs. VALOREM does not physically inspect parts. Photos can hide damage, missing components, reproductions, counterfeit items, repairs, defects, or fitment differences. You must independently confirm identity, condition, authenticity, completeness, compatibility, and fitment.

5. Not Mechanical, Safety, Legal, Tax, Insurance, or Financial Advice

VALOREM does not diagnose mechanical safety, verify recalls, certify roadworthiness, verify title or ownership, determine legality of a transaction, provide tax advice, establish insurance value, or provide legal, investment, financial, or professional appraisal advice.

6. Transaction Responsibility

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to buy, sell, list, ship, install, insure, finance, or otherwise transact with respect to an automotive part. Before completing a material transaction, consider independent inspection, fitment verification, proof of ownership, authenticity checks, and professional advice appropriate to the circumstances.

7. No Guarantee of Savings or Profit

VALOREM does not guarantee that you will save money, avoid losses, make a profit, negotiate successfully, sell an item, or identify every pricing risk. Any decision you make using the Services remains your responsibility.

8. Research More / Insufficient Evidence

A result that states more research is needed or that evidence is insufficient is not necessarily an error. VALOREM is designed to avoid presenting unsupported certainty when the available evidence does not justify a reliable valuation.
