Browser measurement is optional. If you allow it, VALOREM receives a random visit identifier, a source category, and visit or registration-start timestamps. No email, password, listing text or valuation content is included. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track prevent browser measurement. Your choice is stored in this browser; the visit identifier lasts for the browser session. Separate signup consent can link that visit and source to your account.
When service analytics are enabled, server-side signup, successful valuation and checkout-start events record an account identifier and timestamp independently of browser consent. These help us understand product use. Declining browser measurement does not stop these server events, essential account records, security controls or billing. Reports also use existing account, valuation and Stripe billing records; their retention is separate from analytics.
Analytics event rows are retained for 90 days, with cleanup at startup and hourly while the service runs. Data may remain on an offline service until it starts again. Click “Decline / withdraw” in Optional website measurement to stop browser collection and request deletion of this visit's observations and removal of its account attribution. If offline, the request remains pending locally and retries on your next visit. Repeat on each browser and website origin you use.
A random withdrawal token is retained for up to 90 days to reject delayed events. To delete account-linked analytics and suppress future server analytics, contact support@usevalorem.com from your account email. We verify account control before processing. A minimal account suppression identifier remains while suppression is needed. Account, valuation and billing records are unaffected by an analytics-only request.
Existing infrastructure access logs and backups follow their separate policies. Analytics deleted from the active database may remain in backups until those backups expire; approved restoration procedures must reapply deletion and suppression requests before collection is resumed.
